MOV-UP Project

The MOV-UP project created a teacher training course intended to expand the skills of teachers to develop the values, motivation and attitudes of their young learners.

The project builds on the premise that the formation of a sustainable motivation and value paradigm can be supported in early childhood education by adequately trained teachers.

In a long-term context, the attention to the motivation, values and attitudes from early childhood can lead to a successful school career, better social integration (particularly of children from migrant and disadvantaged backgrounds), and reduces early drop-out from school, psycho-social problems and antisocial behavior.

The MOV-UP project is implemented by partners from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Malta and Turkey with the support of the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, KA3 Support for policy innovation. The project application was submitted for funding under the Call for proposals EACEA/05/2016 on Social Inclusion through Education, Training and Youth.
